For turning maybe--its a clear white bulb though?? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 227 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 227 | That be the park light Davey, and yes, high/low beam are the wires for the main bulb. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 130 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 130 | Okay, thanks for that doc bob. heck I don't even notice the parking light on my modern car--Are they automatically on at the same time as the headlight--or maybe the first click perhaps. I wouldn't have thought they had them back then. What was the genisis for that?----dave | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 Ex Hall Monitor | | Ex Hall Monitor Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 | On my 38 there are three circuits going to the headlight housings: high/low/park. All three are connected @ a junction block under the hood on both sides. The first stop on the light switch powers the park lights, the second the dimmer switch. The high/low are controlled by the dimmer switch.
