The truck is leaning to the left a bit and when i go around a right hand bend the truck dives down on the left hand front pretty bad. Any ideas please. Take both front springs off the truck. Take the leaves apart so you have one leaf at a time (both springs). Use the "good" spring as a pattern to recurve each bad leaf on the de-arched side. Sit the de-arched spring over the two blocks of steel (about 8 inches apart) as a bridge with the spring eyes up (just like it sits on the truck), then hammer down exactly between the two blocks of steel one blow at a time. VERY IMPORTANT hammer at one point...the center between the two blocks. Use a big hammer (5lbs) and check your progress frequently. Don't make the bend in just one place...spread it out over three or four points and make it match the good pattern perfectly. Match each leaf on the good spring until you are satisfied that both springs are the same. The prings will be stronger than new, and it will NOT affect the temper of the spring. I've raised friends 4WD trucks this way and saved them the expense of lift kits. It works.
