I was bored and decided to strip the paint, with a citris paint remover, before going over to my In-laws for Easter. I have a standard cab, no 5 window or chrome/stainless trim and thought it was usually painted. Anyone got an opinion?

Bill | | | | | | OLTrucks Unregistered | | OLTrucks Unregistered | The glove box door had a stainless outer and was painted in the center (small ribbed area) with the larger upper and lower band left to show the bright metal to match the speaker grill 47-November to early December 1951, 1952 and 1953 was a steel outer door and the complete door was painted top to bottom.

That's exactly the way mine was painted. The PO (or whoever)ran his tape line a little crooked and painted a little too much of the bottom bright metal...that is what started everything. Thanks for the info!
