Thanks to Bears63 for writing up this Tech Tip on repairing a broken heater control (climate) knob on the 1960-1963 GM trucks. Good job on the tip.

Any feedback ... be sure to let Mike know, or post it here for discussion. These Tech Tips are "living documents" remember, so we can add to them and keep them current.

Thanks Mike for taking the time to do this. Great job. I'm sure it'll be helpful. Four knobs DO look better than three. grin

I think I have a few other Tech Tips specifically for the 60-66 years ... gotta find where I've put them! headscratch

Keep 'em coming boys!

Thanks. I'm happy that I was able to give a little something back to the community. I've had lots of questions answered, learned a lot of things, and have gotten parts all thanks to the Stovebolt. So, I felt that it was the least I could do to try and give something back.

Nice write up Bear. One thing for those of you who need to do this. If you can find NOS pieces, especially the heater switch, you will be far better off. The knobs won't hold onto the aftermarket levers.
