GMC 1/2 ton fleetside short bed custom trim

This is the truck I have , I have had 9 people try to buy this truck before I stripped it down , Is it because it has the custom trim & being GMC.

Please give me feedback on this subject

Were there only so many nade? or is this just a wanted item?

GMC's are considerably rarer, and the custom trim even more so.

I'm lucky in that my 63 has pretty much the whole shebang regarding custom options; cigar lighter, clock, big back window, front over-riders, 4-way flashers.

If yours has the 305 V-6 engine then it's rarer still, as many people junked them and fitted V-8's. Nothing wrong with the 305 engine though.

I tell people that GMC's are a "gentleman's" truck, Chevys are for the "common herd"!

Could just be you have a truck every one wants, your location could make it a rarer truck than in other parts. I do wish our truck had the trim package. I personally have always prefered GMC over chev, to me they look more "get er done". Don't get me wrong, there are alot of Chevys I've seen that I would love to have but when it comes down to it I'm not a bow tie guy.

GMC all the way, mine is a 70'. I havent had people ask me about it, but it's in pieces in the garage. It very well could be thast your's a short fleetside. All of the short beds I have seen have been step sides, not my favorite, but not my truck either. My dad says that I should cut mine down to a short bed while I don't have a bed, but I like the look of a long bed better. I do agree with Tedy. I think it's funny that there are two othere people that live in the same city as me with 70' or 71' GMC. But other than them, every other truck is a Ford or Chevy, and ther's many more of them by far.
