Is it anything to watch out for when you sandblast a rolling chassis with the A-arms and other items?

don't blast around axle housings, gears, engines, bearings, bushing or other similar parts that sand would grind the c@@p out of.

I think I will stick to sandblasting body only , talked to my brother & he says that using easyoff oven cleaner will strip anything you need to ,then pressure wash it.

I bought some cheap scrapers at HF and was able to clean just about everything off my frame. Follow that up with some wire brushing and a good power wash and you should be good to go... unless you want perfection. Then you should take it completely apart and blast it.

None of my jalopies are show vehicles. It is surprising what Simple Green and a good pressure washer will do. If I have a particular rusty spot on a frame or axle housing, I prefer a needle scaler. They knock rust off in a hurry and don't make a mess.

On my project I took it to a local Big Rig garage that cleans tractors/trailors on the weekends and they "Steam Gennied" it for me, it came out squeeky clean!..I highly recommend the steam cleaning followed by a good greasing of all fitttings when ya get it back.

I had my rolling frame blasted. I even had them take off the wheels to get the drums. Sand did get inside the hubs. But it wasn't hard to clean. It needed cleaned and re greased anyways.
