Hi I am restoring a 56 long bed, cant figure out from the diagrams exactly what cross member bar metal piece goes in what order from cab to rear.
can someone tell me what height bar goes where?

Hi 56 stepside,

Don't know if it will help you but I can give you the order for a 1955 3200. There are 5 bars on my truck. Starting at the cab and working backwards the first two are the taller ones. Next (where the frame curves upward a bit) are two shorter ones followed by the last tall one. In between cross member number one and two and aft of number 5 there is a row of bolts that go through the wood without a cross member on the underside.
