I had a quick question. Did Chevrolet ever make a Stainless steel grill for the 47-53 Chevy trucks?

You know I have heard people talk about SS grills in these trucks, but I agree there is no such thing. I believe because there is a fair amount of SS on some years of these trucks that lots of folks maybe assumed the grill was as well.

If it was SS, then I would be able to pound out the dents and polish it, however under the dents and rust, is simply pitted metal and chrome.
