Hey there fellow AD truckers, I have some long running boards from a 49 Chevy 3/4 ton which measure out to 65-3/4". I want to cut them to fit my 53 GMC 1/2 ton. Does anyone have the exact measurment to what the 1/2 ton running boards are?

From what points on the running board are you measuring?

The pair of 3/4 ton boards that I have measure 72 inches along the top ridge just under the cab. If you do have 3/4 ton boards and they are in good shape you would be better off selling them to someone who needs them cuase they are to get hard to find and use that money to buy 1/2 ton boards
