For more money you can buy a modern radio that has the same appearance as the original. They use the original style front including the bezel dial and buttons. If you can find one that you can use one control hole and the cutout then you could make a faceplate to cover underneath. As far as year goes, what you need is a source of 12 volts in your truck.
