Hold on just a Bit longer I have had this in the works for a couple of years getting Jim to ok the production> We are expecting a new sample in the next couple of weeks of the first 1947-48 1/2 ton, 1947-1953 panel, burb, and canopy tank.
I hope to have these in stock by late spring early summer. We have had the new straps for a couple of years now we are also working on the stamped steel brackets along with the filler tubes that would allow you to mount your 1949-1955 under the bed. This is one item or group of items I have kept a real good eye on (not sure why I only have two burbs myself couldn't be that) I did mean to get with Mr Lederman on the 1954 mounting brakets so Tim let me know a good time to give you a call. I bet you dont have any pictures? <k>

I was watching a basketball game, Mike. We won in the second over-time period. I replied to your PM a few minutes ago. Call me tomorrow.

The frame mounts show up on Ebay all the time. Gas tanks can be bought from many of the vendors. Jim Carter Truck Parts and Classic Parts of America are two that I can think of. Jim Carter also sells the whole thing from mounts to tank and all the trimmings.

Best of luck

I been watching. And I just found about about Jims selling a kit.
Of course after I already bought a tank. And they don't offer just the mounts.
Still watching ....

Give Carters a call, I'm sure they'll sell you just the mounts if you need em.
