For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 615 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 615 | I bought new lines from Jim Carter and they were supplied with(2) right angle brass fittings. The rubber lines thread into this fitting and this fitting threads into the filter housing.
I contacted Carter and their response was they don't have any. I don't mind buying them myself but I don't know how to properly identify them. Can anyone help me out with what these are called?
Thanks,

Here is the Weatherhead-Eaton brass fittings catalog. These part numbers work at NAPA. They even have the T-fitting for the block (for the oil pressure line and oil filter line). The rubber lines will probably have 1/4" flare nuts on both ends. You would need a 90 degree elbow with a 1/8" male pipe thread on one side, and a 1/4" male flare thread on the other side. Any good FLAPS should be able to supply those fittings.
