When i turn on my blinkers they blink really really fast, both the lights in the cab and in the back. I see this on modern cars all the time. What is the problem behind it?

The flasher is the little device that makes the lights blink when you indicate a turn. It's a small cylindrical can located underneath the dash or stuck in the fuse block. If you park in a very quiet place and indicate a turn, you should be able to hear it going 'click-click' in time with the lights.

If this little device is undersized for your amount of lights, it will blink rapidly. Pull it out, take it to your auto parts store and ask for a heavy-duty version.

This is assuming that this is your problem. The more lights you have blinking left or right, the more current you are drawing which means the flasher will blink faster.

It's the little metallic drum thing under my fuse box. But ive had that flasher since i got the truck and blinkers have been normal. It started when the dual filament plugin fell out of the rear light holder and one of my blinkers stopped working so i got out and plugged it back in. Now both blinkers blink really fast.

Turn signal problems can be deceiving, but going with the odds, I would check whatever you did on the taillight that caused the problem. Is there any chance something was plugged in backwards?
