A neater approach is to get a GMC radiator and radiator crossmember. Cut off the top 2/3rs of the GMC crossmember and weld it to the bottom 1/3 of the chevy crossmember. The GMC radiator will be in the right spot. You will have to trim the top of the hood latch panel slightly. Few will notice that it is not stock.
