Will my solonoid off my 54 chevy car fit on the f
oot starter of our 48 chev. firetruck?
I have an extra solonoid only.

there is no "solenoid" on a foot starter, just a heavy duty switch in a little metal box, moved by the foot pedal. and I don't think there's a way to modify thae starter to key start
