| | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,107 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,107 | it might be tack welded. i was told to drill out the tacks and it comes right off. i was working on removing a pulley from a 270 last night and all but destroyed the pump trying to get it off. i gave up. it was a junk pump to begin with so i had nothing to lose.

I took it in to get it rebuilt and the gut told me that it wasn't necessary to remove the pulley in order to get to the bolts. Oh well, live and learn I always say.
