i have a 1965 chevy c20, and i most likely about to replace the instrument lens/panel but i am givin to options from lmc truck and i dont know which one i need. They advertise 2 types of panels; 1 is with gauges and the other is with warning lights. So my question is two fold
A. does it matter which one i purchase
B. if it does then how do i know which one i have

Any help would be much appreciated.

mswilkes65Chevy,

Welcome to the Stovebolt. I have included a link that might help. This link doesn't seem to work all the time. Take a look.

If the panel has IDIOT lights that light up when you turn on the key, then you dont have a panel with GAUGES that have little indicators that move when the truck is started.

Like Rusty says, you will need to match what you have. To change it over you would have to change the sending units & change some wireing.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
