I have two sets of what I thought were V8 motor mount towers for '60-up trucks.
Well, when laid side-by-side, the towers are different.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the different engine stand towers? V8 from the different chassis versions, and 6 cylinder?

Hy Brad54, that's a lot of parts you're asking about,
0.029 Bracket, engine front mounting frame
1 3765472 1960 - 62 10 - 40series with 6 cyl.
1 3744322 1960 - 62/all PG with 6 cyl. right
1 3744321 1960 - 62/all PG with 6 cyl. left
1 3744328 1960 - 62/all PG with V8 right
1 3744327 1960 - 62/all PG with V8 left
unfortunately all my newer parts books are for medium duty trucks, and those don't cover 1/2 to 1 ton parts, hope what I have listed helps some

63-66 are all the same for 4 x 2 except for 292 eng which has a different r/s(passenger side). 230-250 and 283 are all the same. 4 x 4's take a different tower.
60-62 are different again

Don't forget that the '63 4x4 used the 235, not the 230.

292 would have been the favoured 4 x 4 eng; 235 was disc after 62.
I was generallizing the motors that all mounted the same except for the 292. the 230,250 and 283 . the smaller i6's were not avail in all years but 292 and 283 were

Are the motor mount towers the same from '60-'66 and '72-up?
I have two sets of side motor mount towers, and one set is "shorter" than the other set. I'm trying to identify them so I can sell them/clear out space in the shop.

Anybody wanna help me post pics of them?

Also, I would have thought there'd be a part number stamped on these, but none is visible. Is it possible I'm missing the number, or were they not stamped?

my previous post says that there was a split from 62-63 so when you go and try and compare 60-66 to later ones doesn't work. you can use the later one in the arlier trucks and they can be adapted to work in a 60-62 only if you are installing a 63 and up I6 eng that has provisions for the side mounts or a 57 or 58 and up v8 which are side mounted.
re different lengh of towers for a 2 w/drive, the only tower which is of a different dimension 63-66 is the passenger side tower for a 292 I6.

it depends on what they look like doesn't it. they changed style in 63 and from 63 on the r/side 292 was shorter than the rest
the 235 frt mounted and the 60-62 V8 mount or tower was different than the later ones. perhaps we can quit playing guessing game and have the orig poster put up some pics so that we know what he is talking about
the 63-towers also fit 230-250 I6 s
ron
He also states that he thinks that they are V8 towers, so he really doesn't know what they came from

I've tried posting pics on this site, but I don't have an image-hosting place to post my pictures. If I could e-mail some snaps to someone who has an image hosting account, that's clear it up.
