I am at a cross roads in my rebuild. I am sticking to the full driving mock up with a second teardown for finishes and final build.
With all the requirements for new rubber, gaskets, etc. I am in a quandry as to install now or wait until finished and install on final build. If so she will never really be in a driving mockup mode.
Dealing with items such as sway bar rubber, shackle and shock grommets, gaskets, seals, body mounts, engine/tranny mounts, on and on. If they remove to often they will need replacing.
What are your thoughts? How did you wokr this?

The only problem that I can see Brett,would be the rubbers that are permanently attached.i.e. door seals or any other part that would be glued in place.
The only other rubber parts I can think of would be cab mounts which may settle a bit.(shouldn't be a major problem)
Other than that you should be OK. It's not like you'll be tearing everything down more than once or twice at the most.
As long as you are careful.
I plan to run my truck 'nekkid' for a while before paint.
The chassis will be fully painted though.
I'd much rather find out any problems before it gets it's new finish.
The thought of trying to work round new paint is just plain scary!

On thing that causes fitment issues is the door seals. You will want to go with Steele for this, and expect to have to tweak the door fit a bit after you get the rubber installed.
