(floor shift) I just purchased this truck and it is missing the flywheel cover. Can anyone tell me what will fit. I have found one from a 216 engine but havn't bought it yet as I am not sure if it will fit.

I'm no authority, but I believe it should fit. It's more than likely the stock 47 trans. behind that 235.

Most likely the determining factor is what clutch housing (bell housing) you have. If it is the original '47 housing from your 216, the 216 cover is what you need.
Most likely you do not have the '55/235 clutch housing because it has different motor mounts than are used on the '47 engine/frame. As I recall, the '55 clutch housing has two flywheel cover-pieces - I do not recall what the cover set-up is on a pre-54 clutch housing.

I wasn't aware there might be a difference, as my 216 and 235 both appear to be the same. "Appear" being the magic word, as I haven't measured them against each other.
