I have been trying to send in an update on my 1950 3100 drag race truck and I keep getting an error message that I'm not authorized to send e-mails (or something like that). I've tried several times over the last couple months and I don't know how to figure out what's happened. The truck is about ready for some shake-down runs and thought it would be fun to share it with you fellow 'Bolters. Any ideas?!

sounds like it's on your end, something with user privleges on your OS, or something in the mail program you're using ... any mail addressed to editor@stovebolt.com should be sent ... once it's gone the only error you might get is a returned mail bounced for some particular reason, like the file type of the attachment

Ron,

I'm going to forward this post to the Stovebolt Geek and see if he can figure out why it won't come thru. We haven't received anything on this end.

what's the recipient you're trying to send to? That error message doesn't sound like it's generated by our server.

Ah, I see what the problem is. Your ISP hasn't configured their mail server properly so it's getting rejected by our spam filtering software.

I just whitelisted your address. Try resending, and cc me at my work address: pauls@utdallas.edu (just in case it doesn't get through to stovebolt.)

Paul, I feel badly that we are having this kind of problem. I just tried to send the same message and got the same error message. I did copy you so maybe you could forward it on while we sort through the issue. Thanks for all your help!

I got it at my work address, but the one at stovebolt was temporarily blocked because of previous errors. The problem is, I couldn't find any previous errors, so I'm not sure why it did that. In any case, your email is now in Peggy's box, so she'll take care of the gallery stuff for you.
