57 3100 TX Apprentice 5 Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 22 Baytown Texas	Been looking at the site for a few evenings now. I have really enjoyed the different topics and opinions. I am new to this site, but not new to old Chevy trucks. Had the 57 since 1973 and it has been rebuilt twice. Now it needs another resto. Lots of cancer from the salt up in Kansas and then the humidity here in Houton area. Just bought a 51 3/4t from up in Colorado thru a cousin. All I have seen is photos, but I now own it. Guy started it in 20 deg weather for him the other day w/6v system in it?? I used to have an old one that we had to drag for about 1/2 mile to warm it up so it would start. Anyway thats my next project. looks like a road trip thru Texas to Trinidad, Co. Thanks for the site and I will be around lurking. Wayne Last edited by J Lucas; 03/07/2009 6:50 AM.

We also like so post them asap.(Read the posting policy on pics) The '51 started so easily because it's really keen to get to the warmer climes of sunny Texas!
