For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 20 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 20 | All, I changed the oil on my old 235 splash oiler with a remote oil filter and then started it to let it run a bit. Every thing looked and sounded fine. I left it running while I then went off to feed the heifers for about 10 minutes. When I got back to the shop there was oil on the floor which seemed to have leaked from the oil filter canister bolted to the inner fender. Bummer. It's not all that complicated so what'd I miss?
