I ran these numbers on American Classic and at least one more. Evey site I have run these say that what I have is a 1961 Corvair. I'm not a smart guy,but I think I know the difference between a Corvair and an AD Suburban. The VIN Plate is authentic because it is labeled GM Truck and Coach Division..... GVW 4800... My best guess that it is a 1951 because of the wing-glass and pull down door handles, but I want to be sure. I bought this truck with a bill of sale. Why would this be so hard to decode? What am I missing?

That is a GMC prefix. Post the whole code and someone might be able to help.
