Today I found a "Fleet Option" GMC.Its a mess,it was totaled,rear frame is damaged,roof damage etc etc.I can most likely buy it very cheap,I'm just not sure if its worth trying to do anything with.[IMG]http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb202/barndoor1/th_CIMG5754.jpg[/IMG]

It might have a 3.07 Spicer rear end. Mine did. That would be worth grabbing. I put it under my '56. Nice road gears.

That engine is probably a 270. That's a desirable engine.

The fenders don't look rusted out. The headlight adapters look good. They are rusted through on mine.

From here it looks like there are parts worth saving if you could get it right.

By all means, acquire this thing. It's a good sourse of
'genni parts. Don't know if you noticed or not but it
has a unusual speedometer cluster, and very hard to find.
Grab it!!!
