My friend has a truck in his barn that has been there since the mid '70's. I am almost certain it is a '53 3800, flatbed, dually grain truck. It has no rust on it and appears to be very sound. We have not looked into what it will take to get it running. We have no idea how much I should pay for the truck. It has the original green paint on it.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

You can see pictures at Click here to see some pictures you can use this as a comparrison. I would guedd arround 800 would be fair. There are many people here that know alot more than I do so maybe they can help. might put a post in the big bolt section.

IF its possible to try and get it running I think that would be the wise thing to do. Then a fair price would be negotiable. I would say that a bigger truck that has no rust, or is complete, $900-$1000 sounds fair, escpecially if you dont get the engine running.
