I know the original clips are virtually impossible to find, so does anyone have any suggestions on what to use that works okay? Since this truck never had a radio, at this point I'm not going to go through the paces of putting one in, so that's not an option. I would really like to mount the panel though.

They're aluminum and are spring loaded. You could epoxy them to the back of the plate--one on each end would hold it securely. Just a thought. | | |
