Hi guys, When I received my new truck, www.1942chevy.blogspot.com I noticed that the rocker oiler was damaged and an external oil line had been rigged to it to provide oil.

I decided to replace the rocker oiler with a new one from Obsolete Chevy and then replace the original oil line with the kit from Jim Carter.

Tonight I replaced the rocker oiler. It was a very simple job. I took photos of the process and they can be viewed at www.rockeroiler.blogspot.com

The pics can be made larger by clicking on them.

First, I took off the rocker assembly. The assembly splits in two so you can remove the oiler. I replaced the oiler and then put the rocker assembly back on the engine. I torqued the bolts to 30 ft lbs. and the job was done.

I will next photograph and describe the process of replacing the new oil line. I am told it can be tricky.
