trying to ID what kind of gearing in the rear end
and what maint it might need...

here's what I know...

the tranny is three on the tree behind 250 n a 67 c-10

not sure of much else about it...someone said
he thought it might be a muncie something?

six lug wheels 15" tires

the truck has the aux leaf spring and coils...

seems like it may be geared really low or something cause rpms seem to be pretty high without going all that fast?

the first gear seems almost like it could be a granny gear...you can hear it whine sometimes a little and it's real torquey...

I know some of the guys here probably get a laugh out of my cluelessness...

Most 67 C10's with 250 and 3 speed came with a 3:73 rear end ratio from the factory, but that does not mean it has not been changed, you can remove inspection plate and divide number of splines on ring gear by spline count on the pinion gear to be sure.
