When the owner and I opened the box of pistons he immediately noticed something that I would have never caught. The piston skirts were straight all the way down and had a sharp edge at the bottom. He told me that one of the best things I could do is to chamfer the bottom edge of every piston, otherwise they'll basically suck the oil off of the cylinder walls, which could possibly cause the engine to fail. Has anyone ever heard of this before? What other tricks are out there that I'll need to know before I reassemble this motor?
