According to both LMC Truck and Jim Carter's, they refer to it as either the cab or rear window "inner panel"

I was going to say "cab rear panel". Valance is usually below and behind the bumpers.

In the GMC book it is a group 23.3690 Panel-Body Side Inner. In Chevrolet it is a group 16.589 Panel, Rear Upper Inner Lining, (Metal)
