I am having problems finding information about a front drive coleman axle (8K I think).

Any tips on where to look for more information?

Is this the axle that I have read about that turns the wrong way from most transfer case arrangements and needs to be flipped over if a alternate transfer case gets installed?

Thanks in advance.

if it does it's a 9K. I'm not sure about which way it turns. I'll try to check the one in my '72 GMC 7500 tomorrow, if i'me not too busy.

That is it. Not much in the way of information on the web so far as I can find.

After cheating death a couple of times today it is home and out behind the shop (wife says if she can see it she will call a tow truck to come take it away).

A few hours with the pressure washer then a few cans of liquid wrench sprayed on most of the chassis then it will sit for a bit until I get siding on the house.

It is better to use another site to post pictures on. Photobucket seems to be the best so far. It will help you organize photos and we can see them better. plus I hear it is hard on this site if too many photos are posted like this.

the pictures are not hosted here-- not sure why the sizes went funny on me. I was using Tinypic.com
