For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! I am guessing this site would bog down in a hurry if everyone posted pictures. Thanks and Welcome to the site. Yea i though I would be further too- I moved my shop from livermore to antioch- And since then ive changed directions a few times with the truck. I always wanted a diesel but 2 years ago it was out of the budget - I almost pulled the trigger on a cummins motor home- then picked up a vortec and a gear vendor for the 400- then I found another vortec with an auto ecu so I bought a 4l80e- THe motors changed position a few times. ANyway it goes on and on- FInally I settled on a 04 1 ton i got a steal on. Between the new shop and the fact that it takes 3-4 guys to move it around so I can work on it on days off it slows the process.
Im trying to do as much homework on the duramax chassis so when it comes time to mount the cab I know how far it needs to be body dropped and make things go as smooth as possible.
Anyone here ever make a crew cab out of one of these?
