I plan on pulling my old tractors to shows with my 55 1st series 235 4 spd. . The GVWR is 4800 lbs. However what is the GCWR? That is the Gross Combined Weight rating, and that takes into account the vehicle, total load in or on the vehicle AND the weight of the trailer and its load. Any ideas? Thanks

My '54 GMC 100 weighs 3460 lbs. and my car trailer is 1200 lbs. so I'd guess your GCWR to be around 9,500 lbs.

I think you might be too light to tow a flat deck with a small tractor on it. What does your tactor(s) weigh? I guess if you've got the 12 volts, you can use trailer brakes, but you will get shoved around alot even with the load mostly on the trailer. I'm sure that happened around farms though, I would imagine you'd need to take a lot more care with that rig. Really slow.
