Trouble is, it's been 20 years since I have had a carb apart. I got a book on Holley carbs from the library and it seems like it covers all but this one. The instructions with the rebuild kit (Holley #37-1540) are pretty poor.
Does anybody have a better set of detailed instructions? I've learned a lot of general things from the Holley book, but it would sure be nice to have a decent exploded diagram and some better instructions.

Tomorrow, time permitting, I will work on the venturi body. I split it from the throttle body before knocking off. I figure if I concentrate on one section at a time I may squeak by with the poor instructions I have.

I couldn't get back to it until tonight, but I got the venturi body cleaned up and partially reassembled. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll get this section reassembled and mated back to the air horn. Then see when I can get another evening to finish it up.
Right now I have a little carb cleaner buzz...
