Dad and I were all set to order a Superride II from Heidts until they told us that it would be a 2-3" drop bellow factory ride hight.

Dad really wants a nice ride but factory ride hight, ie NOT a low rider. This is going to be a daily driver that looks some what original but rides better than new.

Should we be looking at other Mustang II / 4 Link companies like TCI in order to stay clear of the speedbumps and closer to factory ride hight?

Is it crazy to think about adding 2" or 3"'s of hight back by say 2"x2"x 1/4" square tubing between the bottom of the frame rail where the Superride would go in order to keep it out of the weeds? Has that been done before?

Is that with or without dropped spindles? What size tires/wheels are planning on useing? If your going for stock ride height you'll have to stay with stock suspension, most all of the IFS are designed to lower the truck. A 2-3" drop will not put you down in the weeds.

They said 2-3" drop from stock ride hight WITHOUT the 2" drop spindles. Sorry I should have said that, I did ask the tech specifically about that. He did say the 4 link had 4 different mount holes so there was some adjustability in the rear.

Yakima, wow your close to home smile Thanks
