Just bought one yesterday on E-Bay. Have a 50 GMC and was wondering how and where it is installed under the dash. Seller said two sided tape anywhere but would really like to be as close to original as possible. Any suggestions would be great. Mildman

The 986546 Tissue Dispenser was not a 47-54 Chevrolet truck accessory and is not listed as a GMC truck accessory in 1954; however, it might have been a GMC accessory, and it was certainly a Chevrolet passenger car accessory. Here are the installation instructions.
