Hey fellas,
want to try something diffrent for my '57 3200.
has anybody on here ever experimented with 2-toneing their truck?
I really like the look of dark green body with black fenders. I think it looks nice. I know its not stock, but that dosent matter to me. Anybody have pics of TaskForce years trucks that have this paint combo???? Any color pics are appreciated. It dosent have to be green/black. THANKS! J.R. in VA

look thru the gallery for ideas .... commonly the feature line crease and other shape distinctions like the roof and pillars was used - there were a number of 2 tone patterns used on the 55-57 trucks, but body/fenders was never one of them because the front fenders aren't differentiated from the body - in my opinion it'd look poor, like this pile of parts, which is more like "modern art" of the style called neoplasticism but that's just me

I agree with Bill. What you describe would look okay on Art Deco or earlier trucks but not on a TF. Just my opinion.

You really can't paint the front fenders different, and if you had the truck green & the rear fenders black it would look like you had a green truck with a pair of new e-coat fenders that didn't get painted.

The only way they came 2 tone that I know of is the roof white & the body a separate color, or the roof & upper section of doors & upper back panel white & separate body color.
