this carter yf came out of a 64 c30 and the only legible identification number i could find on it was at the base of the bowl: yf4371s.

thats all it really has besides the "carter yf, made in usa"

anyone able to identify it? ive searched the forum and havent had any luck. i just want to know if its a good carb and worth rebuilding for my 292 and where i could find a rebuild kit for it. thanks guys

I did a google search for carter 4371S just for the heck of it. A stovebolt discussion of the subject with Carbking of The Carburetor Shop was at the top of the google hit list.
