i came across this old chevy military 1 1/2 or 2 ton 4x4... what kind of transfer case was installed? its hard to tell what year exactly, all that is left are the fenders and frame/running gear... | | | 
#5003 05/22/2002 10:41 AM | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 | Don't know, BUT, if this is WW2 or Korean time truck, bet it had a hydramatic auto trans and tall shift tower into cab and maybe even a multi-speed second trans. Go to the Futureliner site at maybe www.futureliner.com or www.futurliner.com w/out the E in it. It has a military driveline in the old "bus" unit built around late 30's. There are sites on line dealing with just army vehicles, do a search and find/ask those guys!

where on thetransfer case do i look for the numbers.. i know where on or about to look on the 203,205, 208,241, all the new stuff..
