For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 8 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 8 | I am installing a new bed on a 52 chev short bed and it seems like the fornt of the box is too low. Should there be a support and or bracket attached to the frame that the bed sits on. I saw a picture of a 52 being restored and it looks like a bracket on each side of the frame about 12' behind the cab that is about 4' above frame height. Is this true and if so where do I find these two barackets?

You have placed this in the BigBolts forum perhaps by accident. There is a lot of pickup body info available over in the Paint & Body forum where there is a "Making a Pick Up bed" subforum. You might get more responses in that room. | | |
