Searched on this, couldn't find quite the answer I need.
'41 ton & a half. Getting the truck back together, always an adventure!!!
Here's a photo of the hardware I'm using to mount the rad. frame to the truck frame, in order from Top to bottom:
Radiator Hardware So, from top to bottom, I think, it's
-Carriage bolt
-Radiator Frame
-Pad (not in photo)
-Truck Frame
-plate
-lock plate
-nut
Here's what it looks like from underneath:
Radiator mount from underneath (BTW, the large nut in center is unrelated - it's a frame support for the front-mount fire pump).
So . . . is the hardware correct? bolts are at least a half-inch longer than they need to be - seems odd.
Also, is the simple plate in the right place? It can't really go above the truck frame, or the carriage bolts will not seat fully (very high shoulders on them).
Any ideas? Thanks in Advance!
