What do you Panelites use for extra seating? Has anyone ever used a removable seat out of a mini-van? That way the seat could be removed when it wasn't needed. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hey,

I've got a buddy who is doing that exact thing to a 1948 Suburban. I like the idea. Where in WV are You? I'm in the Huntington area, anyways, nice to meet you.
Sincerely,
Rich

Thanks for the reply. I'm just thinking of doing the mini-van seat thing, just wanted to get other ideas or suggestions. I live in Webster Springs. Thanks, Dave

I scrounged and found factory front and middle seats, and rebuilt the spring beds. The front isn't finished, but the rear seat rides like a couch. Boy Wonder doesn't even want to sit on the temp front seat when we go somewhere, he'd rather sit on the rebuilt rear seat.

I am looking into the thrird row for a toyta sienna 2003 -ish- that way you can fold the seat down , tilt them forward or remove them all together . it also is a 50/50 split so you can make more room but also laeve a seat back there too
