Hi guys, as I wait for my truck to get to my house in Ohio from Arizona, I have been looking at the pictures of it and doing a lot of thinking.

Here are some questions for you:

Could this be the original color scheme?

Could this be the original paint?

Does this look like the original engine?

I know a lot of this will be apparent when I get the truck, but the snow is piling up outside and I have nothing better to do.

not original paint or color, fenders were likely black originally, factory interior was never body color, and the shifter and e-brake levers woulda been black .... looks like the engine is a 216, so if the numbers on it match the title ID number, that'll be original

That is definitely not the original paint.

However, my truck did have body color fenders (and still does), which I much prefer. Here are some pics of my truck's original paint. You may notice the original owner did a little touch up with black paint.

(The colors are a little off in most of the pics, because they were traditional photos scanned later.)

Here's 3 other sites about the Art Deco trucks to help you pass the time if you didn't already know about them.
