I wanted to share a little piece of early Chevy related history that I found online.
It's my understanding that Chevrolet did not produce commercial bodies for their light trucks before 1931, supplying only the cowl and cab for their earlier pickup trucks. You fashioned your own bed/body or contracted with a company that built what you needed.

Here is a 1929 catalog from the Emerson Brantingham company with their main factory in Batavia, Illinois, showing their commercial body offerings for light to one and a half ton Chevy trucks. Emerson Brantingham advertised that they had built wagons for 75 years prior to this and also were producers of farm implements.

I know very little about the early Chevy trucks. Could someone identify the year of the trucks in the catalog?

For those whose early Chevy history is weak, like mine, I offer these short articles by Don Bunn, which many of you are acquainted with.
