Hi, I just pressed the support bearing off my front driveshaft and I have a problem. Once the bearing retainer was pressed off the shaft, the bearing fell off the shaft. The area of the shaft where the bearing seats is pretty chewed up and about .050 undersized now. So I need a front driveshaft for a 59 3600. Does anyone know what years will interchange? The shaft diameter at the splines and the bearing mount area is 1 3/8", and the shaft length is 36". The u-joint is 3 5/8" x 3 5/8" with 1 3/16" caps.

Thanks, John

Could be simpler to take it to a driveshaft shop and have them replace the splined end, or build a new shaft, could even use a new style carrier bearing if you wanted to.
Otherwise you're searching in junk yards.
