On the drivers side at the back of the block where the head meets there's an 7 digit cast number. Post that and I can check that too.

The book I have only goes to '72, and I have a suspicion that the TKB code listed in there may actually be for a 400 BB (402) rather than a SB. That would explain the high torque spec.
