Dennis - Had I known that your Firebolt Snow picture was better than mine I may not have told you how to post it . Love the truck and the picks of it . What do you keep in the fire trailer ? Boy it's been awhile since I've had some good crawfish ! Glad you found us Firebolter's

As you know, with an old bolt and a parade everyone is family, like a crawfish boil, so it was built by my wife, 14 yr old daughter (while texting of course) and myself. Parts came off a '54 International/Howe pumper and a '70 Chevrolet pumper which the first and second pumpers I actually drove out in the dept. Hey does this make the trailer a bolt? Also the equipment on the truck is all period correct even the nozzles which are solid brass with the leather wrapped handlesphotobucket

Great truck! Does she pump? Hard suctions and booster look terrific.

Gotta say, though, that silly ladder is really holding you back. Find a good set of wooden ladders to make that baby really shine!!!

Truck looks like it's in great shape. Sounds like you have loads of fun with it.

Buy 'em. Fix 'em. Drive 'em.

I have been looking for old wooden ladders, so far the ladder you see is the only one period correct that I could find. Have friends at Ferrara Fire Apparatus looking for me also. Thought about making new ladders and give them a distrssed look but have not been able to "cheat" yet.
Yes she still pumps (removed booster tank since it was rusted out). All other equip is corret, extin., axe, nozzles and silly ladder
And yes with all the festivals, mardi gras and any other reason to party (south La. you know) we have a ball.
