Howdy Duty,
Most of the straight axle manual to power steering conversion kits are set up for using 73-79 Chevy 1/2 ton steering boxes mounted to the outboard side of the frame rail. I happen to have a 70 power steering box. Does anyone know what the differences are between the 70 and the 73-79 and whether or not the one from the 70 can be used? Is the shaft for the pitman arm different or is it just that the mounting bolt pattern is different?
Thanks for any thoughts,
Gene & Jr
