There are a lot of folks supplying motor mounts for this swap. Some are putting in a tubular crossmember for the engine mounts. Bluedawg

I have a few pics in there showing the mounts I used and which I like since there is no cross memeber. Take a peek and see if it will help on your 3/4 ton. | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 149 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 149 | putting a 400 in my truck, automatic tranny, would late model shifter or what would be good to install | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 | 53, I use a Lokar auto shifter with the "Nostaglia bend" Works great. I am placing a 350 sbc in my 1951 chevy 1.2 ton and I am having the same problem with the steering box being withing 1/4 inch the engine plugs.
